Sjef has spent most of his life as a schoolmaster, however, on occasion he would work with professionals and he has performed extremely well including competing in official competitions. Sjef has won up to and including advanced level competitions and today he is very competent with shoulder-in, and half pass in both trot and canter. Sjef has a very fancy collected trot and a very soft back. His canter pirouettes are his party trick and he engages wonderfully well and will very happily show this off. He is also clever in the flying changes and does tempi changes including 4 time changes, 3 time changes and 2 time changes. Right now he is working on the beginnings of one-time changes and will certainly be able to show off some of his one-time changes at the auction. Sjef is quiet and has been campaigned for the past 18 months by his owner who is a 14yo. Sjef works every day and is 100% drug free and genuine in all ways. Time permitting, he will have his first Prix st Georges and Intermediate 1 start. A lovely horse that is beautifully bred. Sjef does have a full brother standing at stud in Victoria called Kaludah Schumann. Horses like this are very difficult to find.
